TITLE: SR. DIGITAL CONTENT DEVELOPER - DNA.NIKE.COM

July 2012 - September 2014

  • Manage technical functionality, user access and content strategy for Maxim nominated design tool and digital archive DNA.Nike.com. Last year the site received 19K unique visits, and year to date traffic is up 51%. 
  • Work with both internal and external technology partners on development projects as well as general site maintenance. 
  • Manage content flow via an editorial calendar. Leverage insights of DNA team as well as forecast the needs of our consumers to determine the content.
  • Develop technology road map for upgrades in functionality and overall web strategy. Immediate future plans include incorporating a Digital Asset Management System to provide more access to DNA's amazing collection.

TITLE: CONTENT DEVELOPER - DNA.NIKE.COM

November 2010 - July 2012

  • Lead team in the design and development of Maxim nominated design tool and digital archive DNA.Nike.com 
  • Worked with front end design and UI agency Second Story and backend agency Tacit Knowledge to build and launch the DNA website.
  • Using Agile methodology lead requirements assessment process. 
    • Current state analysis of previous DNA web applications, backend data systems and all related business processes to understand business requirements 
    • Benchmarking with other cultural institutions and corporate archives to understand best practices
    • Focus groups and surveys with Nike employees to determine user interface requirements. Created a user focused story for every piece of functionality on the website. 
  • Managed complete restructure or DNA’s database and data clean strategy. Established a working structured vocabulary and tagging system, and managed the implementation.
  • Lead team that determined the functionality and design aesthetic for the website. Completed all final testing and business sign off on the project. 
 

Title: Strategic Planner - Dept. of Nike Archives (Stretch Assignment) 

September 2014 - Current

  • Initiated the transition of DNA's technology portfolio from the HR group within Nike Tech to Product Engineering Solutions based on adjacencies in key applications and a core alignment of consumer groups. 
  • Lead team of three application experts in the development of DNA's long-term technology strategy to create a fully integrated landscape where every aspect of our business operation has a system of record and we maintain a seamless connection to product creation systems. 
  • Created portfolio deck providing an overview of all systems, business purpose, history and key stakeholders. Moved all DNA application documentation and information from multiple share drives, and static word documents to a wiki platform. Built out DNA Confluence Site so that the information is easily accessible.

September 2014 - Current

  • Built and manage DNA web analytics portal on Google Analytics. Digest and analyze the DNA.Nike.com analytics to inform content creation strategy and predict consumer trends. 
  • In the process of integrating Google Analytics with Tableau software so that all DNA metrics and analytics will be accessible via one dashboard.
