TItle: Marketing Director - PDX Summer School 

September 2011 - September 2015

PDX Summer School provides instruction for English Language Learning Students from low-income communities in outer South East Portland. 

  • Developed and implemented holistic marketing and brand plan.

  • Briefed Factory North design and branding agency to complete brand study to redesign all branding and content delivery tools including completely revamping the website. 

  • Wrote and produced promotional video telling the organizations story in partnership with Actual Industries video agency. 

  • Developed strong media and community relationships. 

  • Planned and executed all fundraising events.

  • Wrote and produced all marketing collateral and web content.

Title: Event Director - The Big Breakfast - Big Brothers Big Sisters ColUmbia NW 

July 2010 - November 2013

  • Lead project team of four Nike employees, and three agencies in the development and execution of BBBS's largest fundraising event, raising over $200,000 annually. 

  • In partnership with event sponsor Nike, Chairman of the Board Tim Hershey and BBBS leadership created the event brief. Following that brief lead my team in the creation of the visual direction, promotional materials, event website, SMU apparel video, event programming, and plan for day-of execution.

TITLE: VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR - RACE FOR THE ROSE - ALBERTINA 

July 2009 - April 2012

  • Coordinated a team of 14 lead volunteers managing 200+ volunteers for Albertina Kerr's 100% volunteer supported and largest annual fundraiser.

Title: Big Sister - Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia NW

January 2007 - 2019

  • Sister, mentor, friend, confidant, coach and cheerleader to my little sister Daniella. 

  • When I was matched with Daniella eight years ago her life was devoid of extra-curricular activities, and she struggled socially and academically.  In the last eight years Daniella's self-confidence has improved dramatically and she was able to eliminate her Attention Deficit Disorder medications completely. Today she has a a passion for new activities such as trying new foods and volunteering. Daniella also created a program to collect food and pet supplies for homeless animals. This program Big D's Hope 4 Pets earned her two college scholarships.
